Top ‘o the week to ye! 😀
Here are my latest fashion/customer photo entries for Chicstar Competition 3 – posting a pic of yourself or someone you know wearing an item of Chicstar clothing. If you like them please click on the pics, which will take you to their ChicStar pages and why not take a look at the other entries. Perhaps even get involved yourself; it’s a great way of getting discounted clothing, it can be fun and it’s also nice to see the clothing on different people.
Tip – you get $10 for entry into the contest and could win an extra $100.
This is a fun top, I really enjoyed wearing it. The only issue is that it’s very loose and low cut, so if you tie it tightly at the back the open chest is pulled back wider and exposing more so you have to wear a top underneath. Also, when you tie it there’s a lot of extra fabric above the ties especially at the back. It’s ok but you just have to get used to it. I made this pic into a fun montage to represent the top’s retro fabulousness – hope you like it!
This jacket is a lot more than it seems, the fabric is thick and very soft, almost like faux seude, very nice to the touch and it’s also very smart. The only issue I had with it is that it’s not fitted so even though it doesn’t feel very loose it can look it from the side and back but it’s manageable. The sleeves were a bit long for me so I rolled and pinned them inwards still exposing some of the awesome buttons. Those buttons really add character to the blazer.
The top from the first photo is now discontinued but the blazer is on sale at an incredible $19.95, it comes in Black and Navy and there’s only a few sizes left if you’re interested 🙂
