Halter & Shoudler Wrap Top White

This top is a two-in-one style stop giving you the benefits of the fitted halter style (thick strap) plus the on shoulder (but near the edges) style giving a sexy neckline and the ability to wear a bra underneath. This top slips on over the head, and the front unties with the sash belt to make it convenient and fitted. The appearance is like wearing a waistcoat over a top.

This is a 50’s style mini dress that appears like a dress and bolero but is really one piece. It has a high collar, 3/4 inch sleeves with turn-up style cuffs, a sweetheart bust shape and Black inserts in the skirt section. The Black fabric can be poplin, cotton or poly-stretch (only slight amount of stretch) fabric. The length should be mid-thigh. I’ve drawn it in Red, Blue and Black jacquard/brocade to show different options.

Same as above except I changed the fabric to leopard print, pinstripe and polka dot to show alternative options.

This is a cute and smart jacket in soft/comfy velvet with satin trim. The main body is velvet and the hip section and cuffs are ruched satin and cuffs have lacing. The jacket closed with hook and eye closures. The back of the hip section has a tie-up long bow.

Same as above but in cotton pinstripe and satin trim.

Fashion Designs – Contest Entries

Thank you!

Blazers are all the rage and great for layering during Spring to Fall. I thought I’d make a more feminine, retro and two-in-one version of the classic boyfriend blazer. It has a faux shirtfront attached to it in either polka or pinstripe, which buttons up like the jacket and has a pussy bow tie-up at the collar. So basically this jacket and blouse like coverage but can still be worn with a top underneath. The polka or pinstripe is also on the roll up/turn up sleeves. The jacket is fitted at the waist. I hope and imagine this as both smart and dressy.

This dress benefits from both the pencil and swing skirt silhouettes. It has a faux shirtfront in polka or pinstripe and tie-up bow at the collar (pussy bow blouse style) and buttons down to the waist (functional buttons) to make it easy to take off and put on whilst looking formal. The ‘upper/over’ plain colour layer then billows out a bit over the ‘lower/under’ layer which is in pencil style. The plain fabric is shorter than the pattern fabric. In reality it is all one layer sewn in sections but it gives the illusion of a double layered, more expensive, two-in-one dress. I think this way will be more wearable and comfy though with coverage yet coolness due to the turn-up sleeves and knee length. Overall I imagine it can be worn for both cuteness and smart wear.

I love both retro cut out shapes and peplum and Im glad to see that both are making a big comeback in all fashion shows this year with peplum staying strong from last year and cut-outs becoming more popular. So I decided to incorporate the two in the classic pencil dress to make a saucy yet cute little black dress of my own (though it can really be in any colour). Sleeveless, wide collar, mid-low narrow rounded neckline, fitted waist, heart cut out at the back, peplum hips and pencil skirt section. The dress fastens at the back above the heart cut out. Small slit at the front with a faux small button above it for detail/decoration.

This is a cute and smart top/jacket for warm weather and can be worn as top underneath something else in cold weather. It has a sweetheart neckline, cute puff sleeves, button up front and a detachable belt that you can tie as you like e.g. in a bow or long sash style. Both the top/jacket and belt are forest Green (or other satin colour) with Black trim. Black buttons. The fabric or both the body and trim is satin.

This is a cute and fun top/jacket for warm weather and can be worn as top underneath something else in cold weather. It has a sweetheart neckline, cute puff sleeves, button up front and a detachable belt that you can tie as you like e.g. in a bow or long sash style. Both the top/jacket and belt are floral with Black trim. Black buttons. The floral is cotton but the trim can be either satin or cotton.

This is a full length skirt with the benefit of both long skirt coverage and mid section accentuated shape due to the over layer in wrap/tulip style. Both layers are attached.

This one is for those occasions when we feel we just have to free our legs and walk as fast as we want to but in a skirt lol. This should be above the knee and have a very small slit at the back which should not reach past the back tulip point/’flap’ and for the taller ladies the back detail should act as coverage just in case the skirt is very short and the slit a bit worrying. Contrasting colours Black with White trim but could be any colour combination especially as colour blocking is such a popular fashion style.

This is a longline waistcoat/vest for good fit, coverage and accentuated shape. Rounded/angular double breasted collar, overlapping front, detachable belt, hip length with the front being longer. The back is not angular, it simply goes right round at hip length. The buttons are Silver tone.
