Face Me

Custo Barcelona has always been known for their iconic prints and vivid colours, later they hit the scene with awesome graphic character designs which I just love. At the time the characters tended to be pictured by themselves or in ‘cool’ settings like cities shopping or on a beach. In a fit of indulgence I bought three (clearance prices of course!) which I thought looked like me and I could identify with. I really wanted one (or two ahem) of the thick, cozy zip up jumpers they had as well but they were a too pricey.

I love wearing these tops because they have a positive vibe and they’re bright/colourful; kinda a top I have from when I was approx 14/15 which is tie dyed in almost every colour with a big heart with beaded perimeter on the front of it and even though the hems are fraying and a few beads have come off I still keep it and it’s still my favourite. So today I needed to feel a little upbeat and out came one of my Custo’s – perfect.

The trousers are from Next, petite range in faux suede – they’re mums but she doesn’t wear them anymore.

I’ve never heard of this label but now you’ve piqued my interest. I bet it’s not available stateside though, eh? I positively adore today’s look; the sleeves are doing me in. And talk about impossible poses! That last one would try my center of gravity!

    • Hmm I’m not sure about re-sellers or branches in the US but it looks like they ship worldwide: http://shop.custobarcelona.com/us/en/woman/ πŸ™‚ There’s also bound to be sellers on Amazon/eBay. They were inspired by their travels in California so it’d be terrible if they weren’t available to the US πŸ™‚

Lol I guess it depends on what our individual bodies can handle – my joints and lower back are constantly nagging me so a little flexibility is good for me but holds aren’t as comfortable for me.

  2. WoW!! I’m loving the curly mane with the tie dye shirt. Also like your yoga poses.

    • Thanks again! πŸ˜€ I’m glad you like the pics and lol very glad you like my mane, I used to be in the vast minority about liking the curls and colours πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by and commenting πŸ™‚
