So difficult to choose just one favourite! But I just LOVE the 50’s polkadot black and white caped flare swing dress – such a lovely shape, so elegant! I already have some vintage style high heeled shoes that match (unworn, that I got from a bootsale for next to nothing!) and I think the earrings from your giveaway would be the perfect addition to the outfit! I’d love to win this!

    • I couldn’t agree more, there’s a lot of variety! Thanks so much for your entry and best of luck 🙂 P.S – I love boot sales too!

The shop has so many different styles, it’s gorgeous!

    • That’s true that type of skirt can be hard to find when not currently in mainstream/high street fashion but regardless they are always stylish! Thanks for your entry and best of luck :-).

  11. siobhan marie said:

    WOW so much choice!

the sexy one shoulder fishtail evening dress its stunning. id team it with skyscraper red patent courts and a sparkly black clutch. and maybe a pretty black shawl for if the weather got chilly . glad i found this store !! xx

    • There definitely is a lot of choice 🙂 Thank you for your comment and please remember to subscribe/follow the blog to complete your entry. Best regards.

Favourite item: SEXY ONE SHOULDER FISHTAIL EVENING DRESS – BLACK OR WHITE in white.
Its simplicity makes it totally versatile for the colours and accessories to choose, totally elegant and the shape highlights the curves of a woman in a lovely way.
I would wear it with a golden body chain necklace on the free shoulder, coordinated clutch and sandals, and a 40s hairdo and make up to give a retro appeal to the whole. Final touch, a sumptuous neck on a short coat to and from the party (after all, I live in England, which is not famous for high evening temperatures). The earrings included would look gorgeous in the whole too.

Thanks for letting me know about it! xo

    Hellooo 🙂
I spent about 20-30 minuite searching the site to find my favourate item, there were just so many! Eventually i decided to go for the ‘DARK RED VELVET VICTORIAN LADY FLARED TAILORED STEAMPUNK RIDING FROCKCOAT WAISTCOAT’ I have a lovely long Black vintage dress that was brought for me as a gift a few years back, i love the dress but havent yet worn it because it feels like theres something missing! I think this waistcoat is what ive been looking for, i think the dark red would flatter the black sequins on the bust of the dress and the tailored waist would enhance my waist, id team it with the long black dress, a large skull ring, a black clutch bag wich had studs decorating it and a killer pair of heels!

Thankyou for bringing DangerousFX to our attention, they have lovely clothes in sizes for everyone!
    Kind Regards 😀

Love the DIAMANTE BUSTIER LILAC SPARKLY BALL SATIN CORSET BACK EVENING PROM BRIDESMAID GOWN DRESS

  34. Your blog is cool and so is this contest:) Although there were tons of cute options (from the romantic 60’s shift to the blue sailor dress to the 70’s chiffon look), I most adored the blue chambray cotton playsuit! I’m quite fond of “rompers,” because they’re simultaneously sweet & sexy:) I’d pair the romper with hot pink pumps, lipstick and hair bow:) Oh… and metallic hoops.

  35. BLACK WHITE POLKADOT SWEETHEART BUNNY JIVE SWING 50’S DRESS 8-28. I like it just because it is groovy. I would wear it with a black flower hairband.

    • Hi Claire, thanks for your comment and remember to be eligible for this giveaway you need to subscribe/follow the blog, either with your email if you’re not a blogger or with your blog ID if you are a blogger. Best regards 🙂

  39. My favourite item’s the Red crinkle vintage glamour cami & chiffon feather ostrich cardi. I just love that it’s ruffly with the feathers and the bit at the top of the cami would be great as it would stop the look being too revealing. I’d style it with some black slightly skinny jeans.

    I rather like this

70s LONG FLOATY CHIFFON SUNRAY PLEAT FLORAL LONG SLEEVE TOP. would look rather good with leggings. Following via e mail

  43. Hi Dolly– Thanks for the blog! I love Chicstar, and it’s great to learn about other sites that cater to the vintage/rock-a-billy/victorian/steampunk/sexy aesthetic. I love the dress-romper. The ruffles are sexy. It is ridiculously hot here in Atlanta, so it would be a great way to dress up and stay cool. I would wear wedge sandals and either large hoop or chunky “crystal” type earrings. With that beautiful neckline, I wouldn’t overdo it on the jewelry.

    • Clarifying above: The Black and White, Ruffle, Halter-Neck Romper (to add a few more adjectives) Thanks 🙂

      • Hi Lisa! No problem, I’m glad to be of help :-). Jeez I can’t imagine how hot it must be in Atlanta, we’re having a mini heat wave in London and that’s bad enough for me lol! Thanks for your entry and best of luck 🙂

  44. Alex Hewitt said:

It was a hard pick but I would say the Gothic medieval corset lace up raven top in black is one of my favourites, it just seems like such a comfy top while at the same time being incredibly stylish (the gothic side is always a plus). I would either pair it with a pair of leggings, skinny jeans or maybe a pencil skirt (so many options), a choker and a pair of my favourite black chunky heels.
    Now to follow. ^.^ X
